We are constantly experimenting and fine-tuning our service. So, we decided to create a regular in-house metacast. Having seen the potential to create a metaverse talkshow with our Virtual Virtual Production pipeline, we set out to test the idea for us, by us. We wanted to make a 21st century version of Space Ghost 👻
With a customised ReadyPlayerMe avatar, the.malchemist plays host in our bespoke Lakeside VVP studio. Guests are able to join in metaverse instance as avatars, via Virtual Reality headsets or Gaming PCs. Or, we can bridge the real-world with video calls, using industry-standard Zoom, Teams, or Meet calls, or via our Vimeo integration.
Each episode sees the.malchemist hosting guests who are interested in the intersection of technology and humanity. Guests range from futurists, to architects and fashion designers. Conversations look at how emerging technology and scientific break-throughs raise meaningful questions about the human condition and spirituality.
Supporting each episode is a string of promos created for social media. These short videos are either generated in real-time during the filming of the episode, or with our partners at ExplodedView‘s real-time iPhone app. The app allows for real-time facial tracking on an avatar, to create quick turn-around social media clips.
If you’re looking to create a talkshow, or new ways to facilitate those traditionally un-engaging all-hands calls, our metacasting service can open up a whole new paradigm of content creation!
